READ THIS before entering this restaurant. If you can find a 4.9 review restaurant in this busy area and they always have empty seats available for you, you should smell something is wrong. Yes this place is a TOURIST TRAP. Their menu is complicated and confusing enough and they push you to order the most expensive meal set. They force you to write a Google review for them on spot, that’s why you see so many good reviews. They will charge you a ‘optional’ tip on top of your 100,000+ YEN bill, be cautious. This is not normal in Japan. The only good thing is their hosts are warm and attentive, but that still doesn’t worth your $400/person expense. Avoid it, it will ruin your Japan trip.
